The Author points out some of the problems raised by the important Lusitanian-Roman archaeological site of Conimbriga (near Condeixa־ a־Velha): the lack of thorough specialized monographs; the need of founding a monographic museum; the want of investigation of the existing evidence for the study of the oppidum’s pre-Roman stratum; the advantage of tracing the route of the Roman via that once led to Conimbriga and of the aqueduct that supplied the water for the population; the problem of the date of the wall-construction. Suitable measures to improve the future explorations are proposed.eng
