Corpo e espaço humanizado: leituras de Vergílio Ferreira

Abstract

Munidos do axioma espaço, estudaremos, na obra de Vergílio Ferreira, os temas da incorporação do espaço, do espaço humanizado, da ideia de Casa-Corpo e de transcendência e sublimação do corpo através da Arte. Sem ignorar o horizonte filosófico que informa estes conceitos, daremos atenção ao romance Cântico Final (publicado em 1956) que nos leva a imbricar numa linha de pensamento Casa, Corpo e Arte.

Starting from the concepts of space and body, this paper aims to study the incorporation of space, the humanized space, the idea of Home-Body and the sublimation of the body through Art, in the work of Vergílio Ferreira. Without ignoring the philosophical horizon that informs those concepts, we will pay attention to the novel Cântico Final (published in 1956), looking for a way to debate the mixture of Home, Body and Art.
