Abstract: O objectivo deste texto é mostrar que a formação de adultos mantém laços substanciais com a noção de intervenção e as práticas que ela inspira, historicamente constitutivos da sua identidade. Para argumentar este ponto de vista, adoptarei uma abordagem diacrónica, tentando assinalar os objectos de intervenção sucessivamente escolhidos pelos formadores de adultos.
Le propos de ce texte est de montrer que la formation des adultes entretient des liens substantiels avec la notion d’intervention et les pratiques qu’elle inspire, historiquement constitutifs de son identité. Pour argumenter ce point de vue, j’adopterai une approche diachronique, en tentant de repérer les objets d’intervention successivement choisis par les formateurs d’adultes.
The purpose of this article is to show that adult education is substantially tied with the concept of intervention and the practices it inspires, which are historical constituents of its identity. To argue this point of view, we use a diachronic approach, trying to identify the objects of intervention that are successfully chosen by the trainers of adults.
