As fontes notariais: uma reflexão metodológica

Abstract

O título enunciado traduz o propósito de se proceder a uma breve reflexão acerca das escrituras notariais como materiais essenciais para a construção histórica, objectivo que se insere nas perspectivas desenvolvidas em alguns estudos bem conhecidos. No presente texto, beneficiando dos contributos conceptuais realizados na segunda metade do século XX, procura-se proceder ao balanço de uma experiência pedagógica que tenta incentivar e introduzir os alunos de licenciatura em percursos de investigação, mais latos, através da utilização dos fundos notariais.

This essay aims at giving the notarial records some thought, considering them as fundamental tools for historical elaboration, a purpose that follows the perspectives of some well known works in History. Taking advantage of conceptual contributions developed in the second half of the 20th century, we try to assess the results of a pedagogical experience which aimed at introducing undergraduate students to paths of a more comprehensive investigation by using this kind of source.
