The author reminds two litterary inquiries, the first published in 1912-1915 by Boavida Portugal in the newspaper República, and the second by Álvaro Maia in Diário de Notícias, in 1920. Boavida Portugal, a forgotten reviewer, expresses the battle between the nineteenth century literature and the generation of 1910 represented by Fernando Pessoa and Teixeira de Pascoaes, between the old Positivists and the modern Intuicionists. Álvaro Maia, a conservative mind, arises the discussion between the Nationalists and the Regionalists.eng
