The clash of two trains on that section of the Beira Alta Line was one of the most striking and difficult moments in my life as a journalist. It was the horror of the dead and the wounded, the shattered bodies, the stupor of the present, that unbearable smell of burnt human flesh. Alcafache must be unrepeatable.

O choque de dois comboios naquele troço da Linha da Beira Alta foi um dos momentos mais marcantes e difíceis na minha vida de jornalista.
