Rio Alva: estudo hidrogeomorfológico

Abstract

Após a localização da bacia hidrográfica do rio Alva, tecem-se algumas considerações sobre a sua geologia, particularmente nos aspectos relacionados com a permeabilidade das formações. Descrevem-se, depois, as formas de relevo existentes na bacia, enquadrando-as em unidades mais latas, a Cordilheira Central e a Plataforma da Beira. Caracterizam-se ainda a forma do vale e o modo como se processou a sua evolução recente. Finalmente, procede-se a um estudo quantitativo que visa, além da hierarquização da rede fluvial, a determinação de um conjunto de parâmetros comparativos que permitam a caracterização da forma e do relevo da bacia.

D'après la localisation du basin hidrographique du fleuve Alva, on peut apporter quelques considerations sur sa géologie, particulièrement en relation à la perméabilité des formations. Il est décrit, aprés, les formes du relief existentes dans le bassin, en les comprenant dans des unités plus grandes, la Cordillère Centrale et la Plateforme de Beira. L'on caracterise, alors, la forme de la valleé et le processus de son evólution récente. Finalement, on procede à une étude quantitative, mise à part la hierarquisation du réseau hydrographique, qui vise la détermination d'un ensemble de paramêtres comparatifs qui permettraient la caracterisacion de la forme et du relief du bassin.

After the localization of the hydrographic basin of the Alva river, some considerations are weaved above its geology, particulary in the aspects related with the permeability of the formations. They are described, afterwards, as forms of existent relief in the basin, surrounding then in larger unities, the «Cordilheira Central» and the Platform of Beira. They are still characterized in the form of the valley and the way in which it was processed in its recent evolution. Finally, a quantitative study aims at, beyond the hierarchization of the fluvial net, the determination of a group of comparative parameters which permit the characterization of the form and relief of the basin.
