Cedrenus attributes to Plutarch an anecdote on Thrasyllus and Tiberius. I hold the hypothesis that the source for this anecdote is Plutarch’s Life of Tiberius. The fragment, which is not included in Sandbach’s compilation, can be reconstructed from Cassius Dio, Symeon Logothetes, the Ms. Paris. Suppl. Gr. 607A and Cedrenus.eng
