actualmente, a indústria farmacêutica
é uma indústria global, mas já no
início do século XX existiam empresas
farmacêuticas internacionais de
grande dimensão. As maiores dessas
empresas eram a Bayer e a Schering.
Estas empresas tinham filiais em toda
a Europa e América do Norte e do Sul
e a promoção dos medicamentos era
feita de forma unificada. Este estudo
trata da comparação das actividades
promocionais dos medicamentos na
República da Checoslováquia e na República
da Lituânia em 1918 – 1940.
Métodos: estudo das revistas médicas
e farmacêuticas desde os séculos XIX
até meados do século XX, estudo
das colectâneas de leis e de notas de
decisões judiciais, análise de fontes
de arquivo e de colecções do Museu
de História da Medicina e Farmácia
lituano e do Museu da Farmácia checo,
em Kuks.
Conclusões: Este estudo descreve
e analisa a natureza cambiante da
promoção farmacêutica. Descrevem-se
métodos e instrumentos de promoção
de medicamentos. É estudado o enquadramento
legal da promoção de
medicamentos. Information contextuelle: l’industrie pharmaceutique est aujourd’hui une Enterprise globale, mais il y avait aussi d’importantes compagnies pharmaceutiques internationales au début du XXe siècle. Les plus grandes compagnies étaient Bayer et Schering. Ces compagnies avaient des succursales dans toute l’Europe du Nord et en Amérique du Sud, et leur publicité aux médicaments était unifiée. Cette étude porte sur la comparaison des activités promotionnelles aux médicaments en Tchéquie et en République Lithuanienne en 1918 – 1940. Méthodes: une étude des revues médicales du XIXe au milieu du XXe siècle, une étude des recueils de lois et des notes de décisions judiciaires, une étude des sources d’archives et analyse des collections du Musée d’Histoire de la Médecine et de la Pharmacie de Lithuanie et du Musée Pharmaceutique Tchèque, à Kuks. Conclusions: cette étude décrit et analyse la nature changeante de la publicité aux médicaments, et les méthodes et instruments de la publicité aux médicaments. Une étude sur le cadre juridique de la publicité aux médicaments a aussi été faite. Background information: The pharmaceutical industry is today a global enterprise, but there were large international pharmaceutical companies at the beginning of the 20th century too. One of the biggest company were Bayer and Schering. These companies had branch offices all over Europe and North and South Americas, their remedy promotion was unified. This study deals with comparison of remedy promotional activities in Czechoslovak Republic and the Republic of Lithuania in 1918 – 1940. Methods: A survey of pharmaceutical and medical journals from the 19th to mid-20th century, a survey of collections of laws and notes of judicial decisions, a survey of archival sources, and collections of Museum of the History of Lithuania Medicine and Pharmacy and the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum in Kuks were examined. Conclusions: This study described and analyzed the changing nature of remedy promotion. Methods and instruments of remedy promotion were described. A survey of the legal framework of the promotion of remedies was carried out. |
