Title: | Los señores de la frontera: perspectivas sobre la nobleza de León y Castilla en torno a 1200 | Authors: | Martínez Sopena, Pascual | Keywords: | Edad Media;Castilla;León;Nobleza;Frontera;Middle Ages;Castile;Leon;Nobility;Frontier | Issue Date: | 2013 | Publisher: | Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, Instituto de História Económica e Social | Abstract: | Este estudio plantea la influencia de la
This paper examines the influence of the nobility on the border of the kingdoms of Castile and Leon between 1157 and 1230. The relationships inherited from earlier times, when the same monarch ruled the two kingdoms, and the political, religious and territorial consequences of the social structures consolidated within this period are analysed. The article suggests that this point of view helps to understanding the new union of the both kingdoms in 1230. |
