Journal: | http://hdl.handle.net/10316.2/2345 | Abstract: | Abstract This paper deals with details of the myths that we can find in the two treatises De sera numinis vindicta and De genio Socratis. The aim is to make a comparison in order to establish what they have in common and what is different and has no direct parallelism. We could conclude that the dissimilar element found there - “a great abyss, round, as though a sphere had been cut away”1 – is to be taken as our planet, the earth. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10316.2/31661 | ISBN: | 978-989-8281-53-1 (PDF) | DOI: | 10.14195/978-989-8281-53-1_2 | Rights: | open access |
