Considerações preliminares sobre o património natural e cultural do território “Montemuro e Gralheira” (Portugal)

Abstract

This work presents preliminary data concerning the identification of the geological heritage and other heritage values of the “Montemuro and Gralheira” territory. The obtained data show the high geotourism potential of this territory, which may support an integrated development strategy to enhance its value.

Este trabalho apresenta os resultados iniciais relativos à identificação do património geológico, e restantes valências patrimoniais, da região denominada território “Montemuro e Gralheira”. Os dados obtidos permitem reconhecer o elevado potencial geoturístico deste território, o que possibilitará a implementação de uma estratégia de desenvolvimento integrado que o coloque em valor.
